How we look after your information.

We're Gippsland Website Design, an Australian web design business based in Gippsland, Victoria. This page explains how we collect, use and protect personal information when you visit our website or work with us as a client.

What we collect

From the contact form: your name, business name (optional), email address, phone (optional) and the message you send us. We use this information to reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to communicate about your project.

From your visit: standard web server logs (date/time, IP address, browser, page visited). We also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies in your browser and helps us see how the site is used - which pages people visit, roughly where they are and what device they're on. It does not tell us who you are. You can opt out using Google's browser add-on. We don't use the Meta Pixel or any advertising trackers.

Who we share it with

No one. We don't sell, rent or share your information with anyone. The only third parties we use are:

• SMTP2GO for delivering form submissions to our inbox.
• Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection on the contact form. Turnstile checks your browser's behaviour to confirm you're a real person, without showing a CAPTCHA. It does not collect personal information.
• Google Analytics to measure site traffic and how pages are used, as described above.
• Our Australian hosting provider (in Sydney) for serving the website.

How long we keep it

Contact-form submissions are kept indefinitely so we can refer back to project history if you become a client. If you'd like us to delete your enquiry, just email contact@gippslandwebsites.com.au and we will.

Your rights

Under Australian privacy law you can ask to see what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@gippslandwebsites.com.au any time.

Changes

If we change anything about how we handle data, we'll update this page. The current version is dated June 2026.
